1st Annual Graduate Students' Conference in Indigenous Research

The over representation of Aboriginal peoples in the criminal justice system in Canada prompts a closer examination of the interactions of Indigenous people globally, both positive and negative, with the law. The Aboriginal Students Association of Laurier Brantford is pleased to host an interdisciplinary conference, in collaboration with the department of Criminology and Indigenous Studies, examining such topics as indigenity, globalization, and the law.
Opening cermonies will take place on Friday Janurary 31st from 6pm- 10:00pm in the Research and Academic Centre West located at 150 Dalhousie St. Early Bird Registration will take place on Friday Janurary 31st at 5:00pm until 6:00pm. Registration and Presentations will take place on Saturday February 1st from 9:00am-4:00pm in the Research and Academic Centre West
