Come out and join in the fun for a great cause! A fundraising bonspiel is being held to support Farm Radio International. No experience necessary! It’s a great event for family and friends. Every $150 raised provides training for a new radio broadcaster in Africa to share local knowledge with others about proven techniques for better land and crop management.

Curling lesson at 9:15 am & games begin at 9:30 am
Event ends at 4 pm
$60 per person (includes 3 – four end games, lunch and door prizes. A $30 receipt will be sent out by mail). If you raise $200 your entry fee will be waived. There will be a prize for the top fundraiser.
Farm Radio International is a Canadian charity working with over 400 radio broadcasters in 38 African countries to fight poverty and food insecurity. We help African radio broadcasters meet the needs of local small-scale farmers and their families in rural communities. To learn more please check out our website: www.farmradio.org
Check out our amazing sponsors this year that have helped out with silent auction items, raffle prizes and other gifts.
There are two ways. If you want to pay all at once (for all players) simply select the "Team of 4" option above. Please add the names of the other team members when you submit your registration (this is the last question in the submit form). The other way is for each team member to register separately. Simply select the team that you want to be on from the drop down list when you register. If you don't see your team name that means you are the first one to register from your team. That means you should add it to the system.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Can I invite people to the Bonspiel?
You sure can! Just send them a link to this page. If you want them to be on your team make sure they select your team name when they sign up.
What are my parking options getting to the event?
There is ample parking at the curling club and some street parking in the neighbourhood.
Do I need special equipment or shoes?
If you are new to curling please just bring a pair of clean running shoes or flat boots. We will put tape on the bottom of one of them to help you slide on the ice. It gets cold in the rink so we recommend that you bring a warm sweater/jacket and a pair of gloves/mitts. The curling broom is provided.
