Description

What comes after oil, for Alberta, for Canada and for the World? How will our societies continue to thrive and prosper once our dominant source of energy becomes expensive, no longer readily accessible, or too damaging to the environment to use in ways that we do today? Join us for an evening of debate and discussion about what comes next for us when we start to live in societies shaped by a new relationship to energy.

The reception will begin at 6:30 pm in the main floor lobby of the Art Gallery of Alberta and includes appetizers and a cash bar.
The After Oil roundtable will follow from 7:10 p.m. - 8:40 p.m. in the Ledcor Theatre on Level 1.
A Book Signing by Jennifer Jacquet and reception will be held on the main floor immediately after the panel discussion until 9:15pm.
The After Oil event is currently sold out and we humbly ask that you present a copy of your ticket at the door. Those who have RSVP-ed will be given priority seating, until 7:00 p.m. when the auditorium will be opened to the general audience.
