Dying is a natural and normal part of life but we don’t meet it well, individually or collectively.
The Calgary Holistic Death Network brings together palliative care and funeral professionals, counsellors, healers, artists, entrepreneurs, community organizers, emerging death midwives and regular folks for learning, sharing, and support.
The network’s goal is to serve as an incubator for local projects and initiatives that help individuals, families and communities face death in a healing way.
Each evening is facilitated by Sarah Kerr, PhD, and will include a short educational presentation, introductions and networking time, and small and large group conversation.
Bring your questions, your curiosity, your inspiration and your ideas.
An enormous demographic bubble will age and die in the next 20 years. The need for healing responses is great, but our collective skills, capacity, and passion are greater.
