When & Where
Dr. Amanda Chan, D.C.
Meet the Doctor
Dr. Amanda Chan is a wellness- based Chiropractor. She was originally trained in the traditional chiropractic techniques and now, practices Network Spinal Analysis (NSA) exclusively.
From a young age, Dr. Chan has been interested in different cultures and how people come to see the world through their unique points of view. After graduating from Chiropractic school, Dr. Chan moved to Europe to practice chiropractic and study healthcare from a different perspective. Upon returning to Canada, she realized the ways in which she was then practicing, were no longer serving her expanding views on health and wellness.
In 2009, Dr. Chan came across the technologies of Dr. Donald Epstein and began her training in Network Spinal Analysis and Somato Respiratory Integration (SRI). What drew her to this chiropractic approach was that it is gentle, light touch and shows people how to create fundamental changes in their lives. In the early stages of care, it is designed to help people become more aware of how they hold and release tension in their spine. At higher levels of care, NSA promotes significant changes in health choices, lifestyle, experience of self-awareness and expanded consciousness.
Dr. Chan currently maintains a general practice with a heavy focus on pediatrics and women’s health. In her spare time, she enjoys meditation, kickboxing, hiking and reading.
