Performance Tours at the Gladstone
Launching: May 12, 2012 | 1-2pm | Buy Tickets online or at the door
What happens when you mix a drag queen, a mimosa and a gallery attendant? Docents Gone Wild!
Docents Gone Wild! is a tour of the unique history of the Gladstone Hotel, the oldest continually operating hotel in Toronto, and of our current contemporary art exhibits. But these are not your typical boring tours. Your docent (tour guide) will be offering their own unique spin, maybe even blurring the lines between fact and fiction. These tours will be highly performative and every tour will be completely different from the last. Tour guides will change from week to week; drag queens, vagrants, comedians, thespians and more!
Guests should meet at the Gladstone Hotel front desk at 12:50pm with their tickets printed.
*Our Self Guided Tour package will be provide, for those also interested in the more conventional tour.
