Effective Execution: The Holy Grail to Sustainable Success - September 17, 2013

About this Session:

Companies face unprecedented challenges in running a successful business. They are sandwiched between inevitable external changes and limited internal resources to deliver results. It is critical for businesses to stay focused, have clear priorities, and optimize the return on where they invest their resources. Getting the work done is not good enough. Companies ought to execute well. This means doing the right work and doing them well. Project Managers’ involvement in identifying business needs and building solutions is critical to effective execution.

This presentation highlights the risks of poor execution and examines the key elements and approach to effective execution.

Presenter: Connie Siu is a consultant, speaker, and coach on operational excellence. She helps companies build high performance organizations through strategic clarity and effective execution. Her clients include both public and private companies, as well as crown corporations across diverse industries. Connie is a guest lecturer at the Sauder School of Business at UBC and Douglas College. She serves on the board for Entre Nous Femmes Housing Society. She is an author of an upcoming book on effective execution, a topic she is very passionate about.
