IDF Funding Program – Information Session
Wednesday, November 21, 2012 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM (EST)
The MaRS Cleantech Practice is hosting an information session with Jason Maurier, Senior Policy Advisor with the Technology Programs Unit with the IDF to provide an overview of the fund and the projects they finance. We would like to invite you to the workshop on Wednesday, November 21, from 3:30-5:00 p.m. In addition to a comprehensive program overview there will be time for Q&A and networking.
The IDF is a funding program administered by the Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation that is aimed at supporting the development and pilot-scale demonstration of emerging innovative green technologies. The goal of the IDF is to help bridge the funding gap between R&D and the commercialization of new technologies or processes. The program focuses on globally-significant, environmental, bio-based, and alternative energy technologies that have a high potential environmental and commercial impact.
