Industry Insights is a series of events that give newcomer professionals an opportunity to network with industry experts and established newcomers in Manitoba.

If you are interested in attending an exclusive event where you will meet industry leaders, established newcomers, and learn about the opportunities that abound in the Information and Communications Technology sector then this event is for you. After you register we will send you an update with a list of companies that are joining us for this event.

Panel 1: Industry Leaders talk about what talent they look to add to their companies, the diverse career pathways in for ICT professionals, and how you can prepare to integrate into the sector.

Panel 2: Successful newcomers share their perspective on achieving success in the ICT sector, becoming top performers, and advancing their careers.

After each panel we will break to allow time for networking and refreshments. We look forward to your participation.

Industry Insights: Information and Communications Techonlogy is taking place during Manitoba Career and Workforce Development Month 2014

During Career and Workforce Development Month 2013, Employment Solutions partnered with 92 employers, organizations, and service agencies to host career panels and information sessions for over 1,000 newcomers and other participants. Sessions covered career development, Canadian workplace culture, and opportunities for employment and career growth. These events also facilitated direct connections between employers and highly skilled, job-ready newcomers, leading to new hires and work placements.
