Event Details

We are currently going through a second iteration of the information age.  New technologies have changed every facet of our lives; in this new world, data abounds.  The winners and losers in the next decade will be defined by how they were able to harness that data to create competitive advantage and improve people’s lives.

Allan has been a pioneer, working alongside a number of innovative companies looking to transform data into insight and action. His presentation will consist of the following two sections:

  • a high level discussion about some smart data-crunching that will help emerging business make better choices and create a compelling pitch to customers/investors/etc.
  • a more granular discussion about the fragmented nature of patient health data today, and ways of tapping into it as a means of solving some of today’s healthcare funding challenges

MaRS Future of Medicine™ Series is a must-attend event for anyone engaged in translational research or commercial development within the life sciences.
