Dates, Samosas, Hummus and Iftars are often what is on our mind when we think of Ramadan. Come join MWA as we explore how to get the most spiritually out of your Ramadan!


Fasting may feel like an individual journey but how do you get the whole family involved and excited?   


It's a hard balancing act in Ramadan when you are working full days, taking care of your family  or going to school.  How to balance it all and and still get the maximum benefit of this blessed month?   


Can Taraweeh Prayers be possible every night?  It is hard with children or work commitments so what else can we be doing to gain rewards?

Speaker Bio: Sr. Nejma received her Islamic education in Tarim, Yemen where she studied at the renowned Dar az Zahra institute for women. She also studied for a number of years in Damascus, Syria and Fez, Morocco. Her teachers include Habib Umar bin Salim Hababa Nur alHaddar, Habib Ali alJifr Ustadha Halima Daghistaniya , Umm Abdullah Nagheba Hayel, Shaikha Hanaan Zaghloul, Ustedha Zaynab at-Ta'izi, and Shaikha Imaan Sidky. Sr. Nejma is married to Ta'leef Collective co-founder Mustafa Davis and is the proud mother of four children. She homeschools her children full-time and lectures and consults individuals and organizations on home schooling principles and techniques.



Registration begins at 1:45 pm. This is for Women only. A suggested donation is requested, but no person will be turned away.
