The 2016 Northeastern Opening Doors Conference is a counselling-based initiative held annually across Ontario. This year’s conference will be held on September 28th & 29th in Sault Ste. Marie (Ontario). This is a conference for service providers, students, and other health and social services providers as well as persons infected with HIV/AIDS and those who support them.
Individuals who are interested in participating who are outside the Northeastern Ontario region are welcome to attend at long as they pay for their own travel and accommodations.

Individual PHA - $25 ($25 will be reimbursed at the end of conference)
Affected (family/caregiver) - $35
Students - $35
All other registrants - $75
Remittance of this fee will give you admission to the two day conference. Two days and two nights (shared occupancy) stay at the Delta Sault Ste. Marie Waterfront Hotel. Out of town guests will be compensated up to $20 for dinners on Tuesday and Wednesday nights (all receipts must be kept). Breakfast & Lunch on will be made available in the conference room.
The conference fee secures your place at the Conference and is non-refundable.
**Opening Doors will NOT be held liable for any losses or damage incurred by Conference Participants**
This is a non-smoking hotel. Those who do smoke in their rooms will be responsible as per the hotel guidelines.
Mileage will be reimbursed for out of town participants. However, carpooling is a MUST if you are coming from the same agency.
Hotel Accommodations are limited please be sure to register prior to August 26th if you require accommodations.
If you do not want to share accommodations, register for single occupancy and include the surcharge of $60.00/night.
