Panelist Bios

Dr. Sherry Boodram

Dr. Sherry Boodram is the CEO and Co-Founder of CannDelta Inc., where she is responsible for providing regulatory guidance and developing strategies to ensure regulatory compliance within Canada’s existing cannabis framework as well as in international jurisdictions.

She is a leader in the cannabis industry with over 9 years of regulatory experience, having spent the majority of those years in the Canadian federal government, most notably at Health Canada’s Medical Cannabis Program as a Senior Regulatory Compliance and Enforcement Official where she was responsible for licensing application reviews and on-site facility inspections under the legislative regimes of the Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR) and Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR). She also contributed to field level input during the drafting of the current Cannabis Regulations.

Sherry has extensive knowledge and experience in Health Canada and provincial licensing submissions, international policy and regulation development, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence inspections and audits, internal quality management systems, GPP/GMP, PCP/HACCP, facility and operational systems design, and education.

Dr. Patrick Diaz

Dr. Patrick Diaz completed a PhD in Genetics at the University of Cambridge in 2018 (Gonville and Caius College). He currently works as the Clinical Research Manager of the Neurology Centre of Toronto. Patrick has previously worked as a research associate in the clinical research departments of medical cannabis companies Aurora and MedReleaf.

Harrison Jordan

Harrison Jordan is a Toronto-based lawyer and consultant focusing on Canadian legal matters related to the cannabis plant – and more recently psychedelics & psilocybin law.

Harrison worked under prominent Canadian industry lawyers Alan Young and Paul Lewin. After completing his articles at psychedelics and cannabis law practice Lewin & Sagara, Harrison opened his practice, where he advises individuals, small businesses and Licensed Producer applicants with respect to pertinent laws with respect to cannabis and other psychoactive substances.

Harrison is also the co-founder of PR agency Alan Aldous, through which he has helped Canadian cannabis companies achieve their digital marketing and copywriting goals – with a key emphasis on Search Engine Optimization results.
