Join us as we bid a fond farewell to Calgary’s inaugural Poet Laureate and "word wrangler," Kris Demeanor, and welcome his deserving successor.

The Calgary Poet Laureate serves as an ambassador of the arts to the citizens of Calgary, producing literary work that is reflective of Calgary’s landscape, cityscape and civic identity.
