Pray Thru Play is a creative, interactive, and contemplative Christian retreat. It integrates theatrical improvisation with imaginative prayer for a one-of-a-kind experience. Attendees participate in improv exercises and games, then move into individual quiet reflection with God. Together, participants practice embodying new ways to love and care for others, themselves and God.
Through the dual rhythm of play and prayer, participants will learn:
No previous improv or acting experience is required. Come simply with a willing heart, comfortable clothes and a sense of adventure!
Space is limited, so sign up soon.
Please note: due to the small size of the retreat centre, some rooms may be shared. (Most rooms have 2 queen size beds.) Please feel free to request a roommate.
The price includes all retreat materials, lodging, linens and 5 meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner on Wed, breakfast and lunch on Thu.)

Monica Romig Green, Spiritual Director
Monica Romig Green is a spiritual director, writer, and improvisor. She studied and practiced improvisation under Patricia Ryan Madson at Stanford University. Upon completing her training in spiritual direction at Biola University, she began to see connection points between these two loving and life-giving creative ministries. During the day, she is the director of the Evangelical Spiritual Directors Association (ESDA) and is the co-creator of the ongoing spiritual formation series for churches, Life With God.
