The Race to Reduce challenge has gained incredible momentum since it launched in May 2011.
We are proud to share with you that to date over 500 landlords and tenants have signed up 151 buildings, representing more than 63 million square feet of office space, or approximately 30 per cent of the total office space across the region!
The second annual Race to Reduce Awards ceremony is an opportunity to celebrate this success, acknowledge the energy reduction measures Race participants have implemented - and to encourage continued landlord and tenant collaboration.
There are three categories of awards focusing on Engagement, Action & Innovation, and Building Performance.
These awards will recognize and celebrate landlord and tenant leaders in the Toronto region’s office building sector, the unique partnership they have embarked on since the launch of the Race to Reduce, and the results of their collaborative effort to date.
