Regency Ball (Midwinter Holdover)
Saturday, 28 February 2015 from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM (MST)
San Francisco, California
London, United Kingdom
This event is now sold out, but PLEASE add yourself to the wait list. There are bound to be cancellations and if we have enough interest, we may move into the larger Empire Ballroom, which would be magnificent. Also, there is still room in the dance classes, which are a MUST for anyone who wants to dance at the ball, and are a great deal of fun in their own right. Even if you can't make the ball, I highly recommend them. Also, there is now a dinner option for ball guests. There will be a vegetarian option. I am just waiting to hear from the chef as to what it will be.
By popolar demand, this is a holdover of the Regency Michaelmas Ball held in September, 2014. Guests can enjoy live music, English country dancing and other period diversion, and all in Regency costume. There are a limited number of tickets for a supper also, which will be small but delectable, so as not to inhibit the dancing. Dance lessons will take place the evenings of February 8, 15 and 22.
Some video tutorials on putting together your own costume will be posted at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIn1Mil6l-w4f3pPD9wm6WA
