Sanofi Pasteur Healthcare & Biotechnology Venture Challenge 2012 (HBVC)

The winner of the competition will also receive an advisory services package worth over $2,500 from ventureLAB. This competition is designed to foster and encourage promising business students and scientists to develop an interest in health sciences commercialization as well as to strengthen the relations between the two communities. Ultimately, this competition will contribute to building a vibrant convergent medical technologies sector in Ontario.
Through the venture challenge, selected teams will design a fully utilizable commercialization plan, receiving expert feedback and the chance to glean indispensable knowledge from mentors throughout the competition.
For those seeking additional support, the HBVC 2012 also provides an opportunity to attend an educational seminar taught by Schulich faculty and experienced insiders. There participants will learn the basics of business plan writing, the features of a successful proposal and tips on presenting to potential investors.
