Event Details

St. Andrews Presbyterian Church is a wonderful environment for this heart-warming story of a young nun and the family that adopted her. While it is always shown on television at Christmas time, the live version, seen in the beautiful sanctuary of the church with its rich acoustics, is a never-to-be-forgotten experience. Clare Gordon accompanies the cast on baby grand piano.

Over the years, this incredible true story set to music has delighted millions world-wide. Once, denounced by theatre critics as 'too sugary', this musical has been embraced by people looking for family-friendly fare. This Christmas, include the live stage version as one of your favourite things.

Bottle Tree Productions

Bottle Tree Productions is a theatre production company and drama school in Kingston Ontario. We are currently the company in residence at St.Andrew's Presbyterian Church, where we hold all of our classes. Our performances take place in many venues across Eastern Ontario, including at the historic St. Andrew's church, which was the founder of Queen's University and was the parish attended by our first Prime Minister, Sir John A. MacDonald.

We coach actors of all ages and levels, and welcome new faces!

Our productions are first-rate, drawing on the fine amateur acting community in Kingston and mingling their talents with professional directors, designers and management. Audiences of all ages love our shows, which range from Shakespeare to Sondheim.
