Southeast False Creek Neighbourhood Energy Utility Tour
Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM (PDT)
Please join CEP for a tour of the Southeast False Creek Neighbourhood Energy Utility (NEU), led by the project's chief engineer.
The NEU is an environmentally-friendly community energy system that provides space heating and domestic hot water to all new buildings in Southeast False Creek (SEFC), including but not limited to the Olympic Village. The NEU makes use of sewage waste heat recovery technology, which is a renewable and locally available source of energy.
There will be limited space in the tour so please register early to guarantee a spot. Should you need to cancel, please notify CEP as soon as possible so your space can be freed up for another participant. If you have any questions, please contact CEP at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please arrive at the Neighbourhood Energy Utility at 10:15 to ensure that the tour starts on time.
See the City of Vancouver website for more details about the project. http://vancouver.ca/sustainability/building_neu.htm.
