Sustainable Infrastructure and Construction Material Innovation Breakfast
Friday, May 10, 2013 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM (EDT)
Queen’s University, NSERC and OCE, invite you to participate in our Sustainable Infrastructure and Construction Material Innovation Breakfast.
Please join us for a breakfast information session to learn about the latest research at Queen’s University, RMC and St. Lawrence College in the area of infrastructure and construction. The goal is to help your company make use of this research expertise to support new or existing business initiatives. The researchers will present brief overviews of their research expertise (or the training programs they represent).
Two of the major research funding agencies, NSERC and OCE, who have a mandate to support industry/academic partnerships will also present on their programs. Special attention will be given to the NSERC Engage grant, which offers $25,000 of funding support for new industry-college research collaborations, and requires no cash contribution from the industry partner. Come with your problem list and plan to discuss the pain points research could help solve for your business.
Free of charge. A hot and cold buffet breakfast will be provided.
