This year’s story is entitled “A Return To Christmas". The story takes place in the 1940's when the circus disbands for the holidays, except for a few characters who don't have family or friends to go to. As a result, they must continue to look after the circus until they continue the show in the New Year.
The problem? The circus is losing money, and the ringmaster puts the pressure on the circus performers to improve their acts. This creates stress and reveals challenges, conflicts and pressures that will lead us inevitably to the Christmas story.
Mingled with humour and laughter, as well as - for the first time ever - professional circus performers, this entertaining story teaches that we all have choices when hardships come into our lives. "The same sun that hardens clay softens wax." demonstrates that our responses to difficulties determine our future life direction.
