Webmaker Design and Feedback Fest
Friday, 24 January 2014 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM (EST)
Are you a teacher, mentor or someone who is engaged in working with the community? Are you interested in learning more about Mozilla Webmaker or getting involved?
Mozilla would like to invite you to our first Webmaker Design and Feedback Fest in Toronto.
This event is:
- Drop-in style: come and leave at any time betwen 4-7 pm to try out Webmaker, to mingle and to munch on some snacks
- Station-based: learn about Mozilla Popcorn for video remix at one station, offer feedback on our future profile pages or improved events map at another
- Participatory: help us imagine what Webmaker should look like in the future
Please note the stations at this event are geared towards adults. If you have a laptop, please bring it along. We will have computers at each station in case you don't have one.
This event is part of Mozilla's big picture goal to work with the community to design open source tools. We've written up some some of our ideas in a blog post. Karen Smith a post-doctoral researcher with the University of Toronto and Mozilla is helping us to figure out how to run these types of events and you can find more about her research.
Please contact Karen at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions about this event or if you need accessibility accommodations.
