All current and potential Weed Free Forage Inspectors are welcome to attend. All appointed Weed Inspectors are eligible to become Certified Weed Free Forage Inspectors. Contact the Alberta Invasive Species Council if you would like to become an inspector.
The first half of this event will involve a review of how to prepare and conduct a Weed Free Forage inspection followed by a mock inspection. This may also be useful for potential Certified Weed Free Forage producers. If you have potential producers in your municipality please extend the invitation to them.
The second half of the event will involve participants conducting an inspection independently and will finish with a group discussion of the results.
Lunch will be provided and this event is free to attend but registration is required. The registration deadline is noon on Monday, September 12, 2022
