Yoga in the Park
Naomi Parker, of Elemental Wellness, and Gwen Draude Woolverton team up again for their fourth season of yoga in Fish Creek Provincial Park!
Relax, revitalize and restore body and mind while connecting with the earth in the beautiful setting of Fish Creek Provincial Park. Raja yoga incorporates all eight limbs of yoga and emaphasizes the connection between the union of body, energy and mind through postures, meditation and breathing techniques.
September classes run from 7-8pm
Things to bring: your yoga mat and any other yoga props you like to use, as well as a bottle of water. Bug spray is also a good thing to bring, and please remember to dress for the weather, as this is an outdoor class (wear layers, bring a jacket and/or a blanket)
Where to meet: the green space beside the red barn in the Bow Valley Ranch (take Bow Bottom Trail south to Fish Creek Provincial Park, turn right into the main parking lot and you'll see the red barn!)
**Class cancellation: due to the outdoor nature of this class, poor weather may cause us to cancel a session. In the event of poor weather, please check our website for cancellation postings at http://friendsoffishcreek.org/programs/wellness-clinics/ or call the Friends at 403-238-3841. In the event of a cancellation due to poor weather, or other factors beyond our control, you will be issued a full refund.
