International souljazz sensation Elizabeth Shepherd wraps up her EXCLAIM Spring Tour with her first big hometown show since her sold-out CD release at Glenn Gould Studio in March 2010. The two-time JUNO nominee spent much of 2010 touring in Japan, Europe, Canada, and the US, selling out legendary clubs from Tokyo to Detroit. Elizabeth was recently nominated for Jazz Artist of the Year by The Indies - the 11th Annual Independent Music Awards.
Elizabeth's hugely successful 2010 album Heavy Falls the Night was longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize and has been praised by pop and jazz critics alike. Here are some of the accolades for the record:
