Producer/DJ, King Britt and science fiction singer/producer, Rucyl are Saturn Never Sleeps, in all of its incarnations. The album, Yesterday’s Machine, is the result of love, labor and many opportunities presenting themselves. Yesterday’s Machine, combines an experimental create-in-the-moment vibe with inspirational lyrics and vocal sonics that range from Sade tones to Flora Purim’s ethereal layers. The result is a well crafted, intelligent, genrepushing, electronic soul rooted in the duo’s collective years of experience and musical expanse.

The Mercury Lounge has been a Mecca for the arts in Canada's capital city of Ottawa, since its inception in November 1996. Its programming purports a musical vision steeped in the traditions of jazz and yet forward in its approach to encompass all its many derivatives. Through its dynamic programming, the Mercury Lounge has successfully connected the dots, uniting jazz with contemporary electronic break beat culture. Within its walls the very philosophy of jazz, that of change, abounds. It serves not only as a club, and live venue, but also for poetry readings, dance performances and art gallery.
