PRESENTER BIO:

A knitter for five years, Eliana loves the practical and artistic nature of knitting. She enjoys the simple senses of creating and self-reliance that knitting (and gardening and bike-riding and plenty of other fun things) brings. She prefers knitting with natural fibers, dying wool with kool-aid and recycling yarn from second hand sweaters. Eliana likes teaching people how to knit, and hopes you'll enjoy learning.

COST:

$25 (plus $1.61 registration fee).  Knitting supplies included!  Please note there are no refunds for cancellations.

UBC Farm

The UBC Farm encompasses 24 hectares of integrated farm and forest lands on UBC’s South Campus. The farm is managed by the Centre for Sustainable Food Systems, which offers a wide range of interdisciplinary learning, research, and community programs on the site.
