The Seattle-based Tangabrazo is dedicated to playing music that engages both dancers and listeners. With repertoire ranging from classic tango to more modern and original compositions, they bring decades of combined professional experience to create a rich ensemble sound.  Tangabrazo delights dancers at tango festivals all across the U.S.  Bandleader and bandoneonist Ben Thomas is a tango and salsa dancer and knows better than any musician what dancers like to listen and dance to. This late night event is a Buenos Aires style Salon, dancers and listeners mix in a café atmosphere.  The music group comes on late, dancers usually sit to listen with audience, especially if a vocalist comes on. North America dancers, their enthusiasm for dance cannot be contained, will creep onto the dance floor for everyone’s entertainment.

Greg began dancing in ballet and modern dance, touring and performing with modern dance companies throughout the US and Europe. Since 1997 Greg has devoted his dance training, performance and teaching completely to Argentine Tango. He travels in the US, Europe, Mexico and to Buenos Aires for ongoing training with the major proponents of the Nuevo tango and to perform. He is dancing with Kimberly Han of Seattle.
