Do you know what to do if your infant or child is choking? Not breathing? Maybe you have your First Aid certification from years ago and need a refresher? Knowing the basics in an emergency can save a life. This 90 minute workshop is led by an instructor from St. John Ambulance – Canada’s standard for excellence in first aid and CPR services.
Our instructor will cover infant (0-12mths) and child CPR, choking and prevention. St. John Ambulance has been teaching and providing First Aid services in Canada for 125 years. Instructors are certified to national standards.
Childcare is available at the Tri-Leisure Center for an additional fee. Click here for information on child-minding services. PLEASE book in advance. Infants are welcome to stay with Mom during the workshop at no cost if you prefer.
Cost is $30 for Perks Card holders and $35 for non-members. Inlcudes session, pastries, and refreshments!
