The Burgundy Brick Foundation (BBF) was established in 2007 by a young group who collectively believed that they could make a difference within Toronto and the GTA’s affordable housing community. Burgundy Brick’s motivation lies in the principle that – without a strong foundation of a home, one cannot have stability in life. It was this belief that led BBF to support Habitat for Humanity Toronto.

Since 2007 the BBF team has ambitiously worked towards the organization’s common goal. Leading by example, BBF executives have shown youth that there are many ways to get involved. Whether donating their time and resources or volunteering to build new homes for inspiring families – BBF recognizes there cannot be effective change in their community, without a call to action. Understanding we have the ability to improve the future of the community we all love, the BBF team advocates change and strives to be a leader in youth social responsibility.

The Burgundy Brick Foundation influence has grown every year and we hope to continue this growth by increasing team members, supporters, events and ultimately funds to support many more housing initiatives within the City of Toronto. The Burgundy Brick Foundation has only just begun - we have big goals and a competitive spirit that has and will continue to allow us to engage youth to be the catalyst of change within our City
