CivicMeet Vancouver is an informal meetup that seeks to connect Vancouver area public and private sector civic innovators working to create a more open, engaged civil society. This is a bi-national series of events that originated in San Francisco and one that we hope will become a regular gathering here in Vancouver.

Civic Meet Vancouver is organizartioed by Yuri Artibise and Amanda Gibbs. Yuri is the Director of Community Engagement at PlaceSpeak, an online location-based community consultation platform that promotes meaningful dialogue on local issues. Amanda is the Principal of Public Assembly, a social innvation company focused on creative and productive public engagement
