About the Panelists

Jill Wilkie, BA, LLB | Jill is a partner at Miller Thomson LLP. She specializes in advising employers on all aspects of employment law ranging from employee agreements, policies, human rights, to privacy, disability management and performance management. 

Leah Fochuk, MBA, CPHR | Leah is a senior consultant with Salopek & Associates Ltd. She has over 15 years of progressive experience working with small to mid-size organizations providing both tactical and strategic support. Leah is currently working with a number of clients in the  implementation of policies related to changes in employment standards and specifically Bill 17.  A creative and practical problem solver, Leah is able to effectively work with senior leaders to ensure alignment between HR strategies and business objectives.  She is an effective advisor and resource for all levels within an organization.

Jennifer Kirby, BA, CFP, CHS, CLU, GBA | Jennifer is a principal at Vital Partners. With over 20 years of experience in benefits and insurance, Jennifer works with organizations in a wide range of industries. She specializes in tailoring innovative benefits programs for organizations and in making ongoing benefits management a stress-free experience.
