Become an authentic, skilled and certified Meditation Facilitator in the practice of Naturality, or living according to your true nature.

There are many approaches to understand the art and science of meditation. Our approach is through Naturality, meaning to live according to your true nature. The Naturality approach is neither religious nor spiritual but natural; after learning the basics of meditation techniques and practices, you are encouraged to discover your unique way of meditating according to your natural personality. It is the easiest way to practice meditation. The goal is to become free from fear and guilt and live with peace, passion and bliss.

From the Naturality point of view, meditation is relaxation, awareness and expansion of awareness. The practice of meditation promotes emotional healing and can be helpful for those suffering from a variety of acute and chronic health problems including stress-related disorders, chronic pain, anxiety and depression. As the practice deepens, we discover our natural self and inner guru and eventually experience mind expansion and stillness.

Whether you are a practitioner of meditation or a beginner, this program will deepen your own meditation practice and will also enable you to teach meditation to individuals and groups.

These comprehensive and unique programs are offered by Jivasu, founder of the Path of Naturality, and several of his fellow teachers, in association with the Canadian Yoga Alliance.

100-hr Meditation Facilitator Training Program

What you will learn

This 100-hour training course, taught in a studio in Toronto on most Sundays from May-July 2019, will focus on both theory and practical methods of teaching, so that you can achieve mastery in the practice of mindfulness and various other meditation methods to become a competent meditation facilitator.

Naturality is an open, flexible and ever-evolving system of teachings that help us to understand the root cause of life’s problems as well as find the solutions within us. Guided by certain core principles and practices, individuals embark on the adventure of self-exploration. By walking the Naturality path, we build a healthy identity and discover our Inner Guru to guide us through a complex world. We eventually discover our natural self and are able to live fully.

Understand and become skillful in the art and science of a variety of meditation techniques to experience peace in daily living and the discovery of your true self.

The following meditations will be explored and practiced:

  • Expansive

  • Mindfulness

  • Self-love

  • Who Am I?

  • Dream and sleep

  • Chakra

  • Visualization and guided imagery

  • Sound (chants)

  • Self meditation

With a special emphasis on:

  • The role of meditation in treating mental health problems, including fear and anxiety.

  • The role of meditation in helping people suffering from chronic stress and pain.

  • The role of meditation in preventing and delaying brain aging to help in dementia and alzheimer disease.

Complimented by:

  • Body movement

  • Breath work


  • Spirituality and Sciences: combine meditation and yoga with the latest research in neuroscience.

  • Mind-Body Medicine: Explore the mind-body connection to experience the feeling of well-being through your body's relaxation response, and to deal with stress, anxiety, PTSD, sleep problems and other chronic illnesses.

Develop tools for self-knowing through:

  • Determine your natural personality and change your lifestyle accordingly: connect personality and body types to the brain and nervous systems functions.

  • Identity, Subconscious and Natural Self: connect in-depth knowledge of self with the meditative journey.

  • Centres of evolution and involution, chakras and their connection with the brain and the world: explore their evolutionary significance and connection to the brain.

  • Energy points, Energy channels and Energy Healing: connect them to the nervous system.


Meditations: You will practice and learn the theory behind a variety of meditations, and will also explore the effects of meditation on the body, emotions, thoughts and how various mind-body health problems can be relieved by meditation practice. Meditation can be holistic medicine without any side-effects.

Breathing exercises: Breathing exercises are techniques to regulate your breath. ‎The different types of breathing techniques you will practice will include: Naturality breathing (breath of dissolution), alternate nostril breathing, chakra, ujjayi, ‎kapalabhati, ‎bhastrika or bellow breathing, and breath of dissolution.

Kriyas: Kriyas are the harmonious combination of movements and chants specific to chakras.

Beside the above, you will also learn about how to become an effective and confident teacher and how to teach students with different physical and mental health conditions.

Teaching Methods

Experience based education – Experiencing and finding the source of experiences.

Problem based learning – Exploring the problem of fear, meaning in life, love, relationships, fulfillment, work and education.

Dialectical dialogue – Exploring two poles of an experience or knowledge.

Self-inquiry – Who am I? Enquiring into the origin of knowledge, beliefs and motives.

Healthy competition and co-operation – Helps in realizing and expressing our potential and brings unique creativity to teachings without having us feel isolated. We have a fear of our own greatness, known as Jonah’s complex, which we have to overcome to experience the best in us.

We become big by becoming bigger, not by making others small - and then by helping others to grow.

$1150 + HST (includes overnight retreat and course material)

$250 deposit required to confirm your spot in the program, by cheque or via email transfer to lara@listenlightly.com. Payment in full is required 30 days before the start of the program.

Cancellation policy: We will refund the $250 deposit up to 1 month prior to the session start date. There is no cost to transer your spot to someone else.
