Event description

Description

On Saturday, June 2nd, 2018, 100In1Day is returning to Toronto! We invite you to join your community in transforming your city through hundreds of urban interventions in public spaces around the country all on one day.

Imagine the possibilities for our city if hundreds of people united to participate in small initiatives to spark change. 100In1Day Canada is part of a growing global movement changing how people collaborate and interact with their cities.

Here's a video that shows what happened on the last 100In1Day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eCPMSjwLOw

People of all ages, backgrounds and locations across the city are invited to attend workshops to develop their 100In1Day interventions – from idea to execution.

Interested in hosting an intervention with a focus on making the city an easier place to get around? Or maybe you just want to learn more about 100In1Day and the types of initiatives individuals like you are spearheading celebrating different types of transportation. We're bringing expert guest facilitators, Claire Scott from Cycle TO and Michelle Kearns from Metrolinx, to show you how! Check out their bios below. We'll also be joined by Lyna Saad and the good folks from Walk Toronto.

This FREE workshop is meant to inspire generative, creative and reflective interventions with an emphasis on transportation in the city. It is also for you to share your ideas for creating better transportation features and systems in your own neighbourhood. Learn more, meet people and develop your urban intervention at this free workshop.
