Cavendish Beach Drive-in Concert Series

Due to the heavy rain and wind in the forecast for Saturday night, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Cavendish Beach Drive-In Concert Series show for tomorrow, Saturday, August 29th.

With the impending weather being a potential safety issue this decision was made for the safety and wellbeing of everyone involved.

Full refunds will be automatically processed for all ticket buyers.

Cavendish Beach Drive-In Concert Series is PEI’s Only Live Drive-In Concert Series.

• August 8th - Ellis Family Band, Gordie MacKeeman and his Rhythm Boys, Dylan Menzie, Trinity Bradshaw
• August 29th -Lennie Gallant, Catherine MacLellan, Alicia Toner, Hailee LeFort Trio

EVENT DETAILS & POLICIES

All ticket purchasers are required to follow safety procedures and policy as set out by the event and the Chief Public Health Office. Failure to comply with the policies will be deemed grounds for removal from the facility.

• All guests must remain within designated parking spot during the show unless visiting restroom facilities. A combination of permanent and temporary washroom facilities will be available. You will be provided a map indicating the washroom facilities nearest to your location. Physical distancing and adherence to guidelines set by the Chief Public Health Office will be required of all guests.
• All vehicles will be parked by a parking attendant to ensure social distancing is in place. Please be patient with this process as we adhere to social distance requirements.
• Food and non-alcoholic beverage service will be available via the MHG Delivered app with delivery right to your car. Download the MHG Delivered app before arrival.
• This is an unlicensed event. No alcoholic beverages will be sold.
• Gates open at 4:00pm and the show will end at approximately 10:00pm.
• No re-entry will be permitted
• This is an outdoor event subject to postponement, delay or cancellation due to inclement weather
• All purchases are non-refundable. All sales are final
• Artists and set times are subject to change without notice
• All ticket holders and their vehicles are subject to security search upon entry
• All attendees subject to photography, videography and/or live streaming including aerial drone
• All attendees are subject to the event terms and conditions

ITEMS NOT PERMITTED

There are certain items that are NOT permitted and cannot be brought into the Cavendish Beach Events Centre. Cavendish Beach Drive-in Concert Series reserves the right to alter carry-in policies at any time. Currently, items NOT permitted include, but are not limited to:

• outside food and beverages
• alcohol
• drugs and drug paraphernalia
• fireworks, explosives or weapons of any kind
• contraband
• video equipment
• professional cameras
• recording devices
• laser pointers
• skateboards, inline skates or wagons
• kites
• frisbees or other projectiles
• selfie sticks, drones or GoPro's

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Am I able to reserve a parking spot?

Individual parking spot reservations are not available. Parking spots will be assigned first come, first served. Please contact us to make group reservations for 10 or more vehicles.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes, but please make sure they are on a leash, they have ample water and you clean up after them.

Is there RV Parking?

Yes, there will be a limited number of RV parking spots available at the back of the car sites. There is no electrical hook up for the RV. An RV General Admission ticket is required.

Can I attend the show on a motorcycle?

Yes you can.

Are walk-ins permitted?

Unfortunately, they are not. We will let you know if that changes!

How will I hear the concert?

You will be directed to turn your vehicle radio to a certain radio station. The sound will be transmitted via FM radio transmitters right into your vehicle’s radio. Portable radios will also work.

Can I leave and come back?

No, there is a no re-entry policy for the concert series.

Will cars be searched at the point of entry?

All cars are subject to being searched before entering the venue.

What happens if there is inclement weather?

If the forecast indicates inclement weather, the show will be postponed to another date. We will email all ticket buyers and post on our social channels if a show gets postponed.

If the battery in my car dies will I be able to get it boosted?

Yes, we will be able to boost your car if your battery happens to die. Our first priority will be to get all cars out of the venue before boosting your car.
