Event description
uOttawa alumni and friends are invited to join their all-new online book club - uO BookIn!

About this Event

This new online book club is hosted by the Alumni Relations Office and the University of Ottawa Press. Each book club meeting will shine a spotlight on one book in English and one in French.

In this session, Beverly Marchand, University of Ottawa alumna (B.A. '16, MA-Arts '18) and PhD candidate, will lead this discussion on the autobiography of Monique Frize, A Woman in Engineering: Memoirs of a Trailblazer. The meeting will feature extracts from pre-recorded video interviews of the authors, along with discussions on the topics covered in the books.

This online book club is meant to be a friendly forum through which you can ask questions and discuss the selected book with the group, whether you’ve read the book entirely, partially, or not yet. Everyone is welcome to join.

The University of Ottawa Alumni Association is proud to gift a copy of the book to the first 50 alumni to register to each event (between February 1st and 9th, 2021).

Join the uO BookIn Facebook group dedicated to the book club so you don’t miss out!

Date: Thursday, March 11 at 11:30 a.m.
