Art Night In

Unwind and get creative from home with Art Night In, a weekly online program for adults. Led by local artists, each session explores a new art form. Get ready to unleash your inner artist with a fun evening of creativity - no experience required!

Logos are a mix of art and imagination, and you can make one, even if you’ve never designed before! In this playful, hands-on class, you’ll explore how colour, shapes, and lettering can work together to tell a story. We’ll chat about the basics of colour theory, and simple design tips.Then it’s time to create! Design a logo for anything you like; your business, a hobby, or something totally made up, like a pretend sports team or café. Use traditional art supplies (paper, pencils, markers) for a more hands-on feel or try the free digital tool Canva if you prefer working on a screen. You’ll leave with a fun, eye-catching logo and the confidence to turn any idea into art.

To enjoy hands-on participation of this program, please try to have the following list of materials available.
