About this Event
Research and Share the Social Media Way
Social media can be used to help genealogists in four areas: research your family line, learn general genealogical tips and tricks, share information with others and meet distant relatives. Discover examples of these four areas within six free platforms along with the pros and cons of each. The platforms we will discuss are:
• YouTube
• Blogs
Social Media! Those who did not discover it before, have probably started using it during the COVID shutdown. There are so many ways genealogists can use social media platforms to research, crowd source and share family history.
This webinar will be a one hour presentation and then a panel discussion for the second hour. This will be the last webinar in the series so it allows us to discuss and wrap up the series. The presenter, Lianne Kruger, will be part of the panel as there will be questions from her presentation.
