About this event

Over 81% of people use their phones in bed. This includes everyone, but for young people, that number is much higher. The data shows that using technology - either during the day or right before bed - can make it hard to fall asleep. This same technology use can have a negative impact on overall sleep quality and duration. But recent research shows this might not always be the case. For some people, tech before bed might even help.

Healthy sleep can make a massive difference during the day. Healthy sleep is necessary for good health, and sleep is important for cardiovascular health, obesity, diabetes, and psychological well-being.

Dr. Michael Gradisar will talk about the research on tech use and sleep, sharing tips and debunking myths to help you get better rest on your terms.
