Description
Two days of operational-style pistol shooting! Includes the team championship and the individual championship.
The OSA Operational Pistol Championship is open to OSA members, OSA affiliate members and guests who have completed the pre-requisite clinic (or have competed at NSCC or are LE/CF professionals). You can download the match descriptions at http://www.osacanada.ca/eventsmain.htm. We normally shoot Matches 1-17 for the aggregate, plus the world-famous Last One Standing and either the OPP Challenge or the FBI Challenge... or both if we have time.
Ammunition must be full-power loads and must be proven safe in your pistol; you'll need about 500 rounds. (Always bring extra!) Electronic hearing protection and safety glasses are required.
Both days' scores will count towards the individual championship. The Saturday scores will be used for teams... bring any number of club members... all can shoot the matches and the top four members' scores will make up your team score. (If you want to bring two club teams, that's fine too.) Saturday scores will carry forward to Sunday for the individual championship.
- Saturday only tickets $65.00 for non-members. $25.00 off for OSA members (use Promotional Code osamember) and $25 off for OSA affiliate members (use Promotional Code osaaffiliate).
- Full weekend tickets $75.00 for non-members. $25.00 off for OSA members (use Promotional Code osamember) and $25 off for OSA affiliate members (use Promotional Code osaaffiliate).
When you check in on the day, you'll be asked for proof of membership. You'll also be required to sign a liability waiver.
Check in between 0830 and 0845. Mandatory safety briefing starts at 0845. If you are not present for the safety briefing, you will not be able to participate.
You must have shooter's liability insurance to enter our facility; i.e., you must be a member of the CFI, CSSA, NFA or OFAH. You must be fluent in English to participate in any OSA event.
If you haven't been to an OSA event before, email lindamilcun@gmail.com for detailed instructions.
