Description

On this 80th year since the September that Canada joined Britain in the conflict in Europe, the St. George’s Society Toronto is honoured to present a programme of remembrance.

Sir Winston Churchill – A True Renaissance Man – His Life and Achievements
Noted Churchillian Speaker, Garnet Randy Barber will give us an insight into the man who stirred England and the World with his messages of hope, determination and fortitude.

Toronto in the 1930’s
Richard Fiennes-Clinton of Muddy York Tours will present a visual and oral picture of what the City of Toronto was like in the 1930’s. Who were its citizens and what were their goals?

Tickets are $40.00 per person - you will receive a tax receipt for the total. WE DO RESPECTFULLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO DONATE MORE. A tax receipt will be issued for the full amount you donate.

There will also be a cash bar, and complimentary hot and cold appetizers will be served.

Space is limited - pre-registration and pre-payment are required.

Payment can be completed in one of three ways:

1. Online via Eventbrite (preferred method);

2. Mail a cheque to: The St. George’s Society Toronto, 50 Baldwin Street, Toronto, M5T 1L4; or

3. Call the Society office at: 416-597-0220 to pay by Visa.

Charities to benefit include Legion Branch 165 (for its work at Sunnybrook) and the Vimy Foundation.
