About this Event

The first annual Vancouver Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Symposium provides an update on the most recent trends in Resuscitative and Procedural POCUS and features a panel discussion with various specialists (Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine) about the top applications used in everyday clinical practice. There's also an optional afternoon workshop for those who want more hands on practice with local experts in the field.

The Vancouver PoCUS Symposium 2019 is a fully accredited learning activity by the UBC Division of Continuing Professional Development. Attendees are eligible for 8.0 MOC Section 3 Credits (for full day) with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and 8.0 Mainpro+ Assessment Credits (for full day) with the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
