The University of Lethbridge is pleased to bring you the Association of Alberta Sexual Assault Services' 1st Responder to Sexual Assault and Abuse Training.
This 2 day workshop will provide participants with education and skill development in the following areas:
- Definitions, myths & laws about the various types of sexual abuse & sexual assault
- Training in immediate & long term impacts of sexual abuse & sexual assault
- Response to disclosures of sexual abuse & sexual assault
- Rethinking and engaging in prevention of sexual violence
This training is beneficial to students, staff and faculty in the University of Lethbridge community who are interested in increasing their skills and confidence to address issues related to sexual violence.
