About this event

The 2° Max Climate Rap Contest is a virtual, bilingual summer enrichment opportunity open to 12–19-year-old Canadian youth. The contest will start on World Environment Day, June 5th, and involve two full months of weekly events, workshops, education and other opportunities – guiding participants in creating an original climate rap music video, as they build skills in lyric development, video production, science communication, performing arts and environmental advocacy.

Winners will be announced at the October 1st online award ceremony and all participants will have the opportunity to meet and learn from professionals in the music industry.

Join us to hear about all of the educational enrichment opportunities available to participants. Learn all the details so that you can share information about this contest with your science and art-interested students, friends, and teens. We are excited to see you there!

Please note: Sessions will be offered in French as well (other date is on Eventbrite on May 29th - 2:30 pm & June 1st - 1:00 pm PST )

Unfortunately, we are unable to open this contest to youth residing in Quebec.
