Event description

Description

The Refugee Law Office (RLO) and Legal Aid Ontario (LAO) is pleased to present the 2016 annual Refugee Law Office Conference, taking place again at the Osgoode Professional Development Centre, 1 Dundas Street West 26th Floor, Toronto, Ontario.

This year we're excited to bring you a fantastic lineup of speakers and panelists discussing a wide range of topics pertaining to refugee law.

Attending

Due to escalating conference costs, attendance fees of $50 will be charged for the 2016 conference. However, LAO refugee panel lawyers (and their articling students), LAO-funded legal clinic staff and LAO employees, are eligible for a waiver of the conference fees. Please use the referral link or promotion code freeRLO22 in order to waive the conference fee.

Online and in-person

Participate online through our webcast, or come in-person. Note: space is limited and will be prioritized for LAO refugee panel members and clinic lawyers. The webcast will be available for 30 days for all webcast registrants and then permanently archived online at LAO LAW for panel members, clinic staff and LAO employees.

CPD hours!

This conference has been accredited by the LSUC for one hour of professionalism content and is also eligible for five hours and 30 minutes of substantive content.
