Event Details

In preparation for National Housing Day, please join the Halifax Housing and Homelessness Partnership on November 20th as we pursue innovative solutions and improved outcomes in Affordable Housing.

The Housing and Homelessness Partnership invites you to a conference with a focus on down-to-earth best practices by which you can improve your housing stock, and build your capacity as service providers, property owners and managers.

Building a stronger non-profit and affordable housing sector means working and learning together. So come and meet your colleagues, expand your network, and explore new opportunities that can help make your work more effective and your organization more sustainable. Topics to be covered in this year's conference include expectations surrounding the National Housing Strategy (NHS), the current state of housing, new affordable housing developments and lessons learned; health equity, the value of "neighbourhood", access and alternative models of service delivery, a review of the Home for Good project, and more.

Together we can build a bigger and better affordable housing sector.

Who should attend?

Housing providers, landlords, developers and builders; residents and community advocates; planners, architects, consultants; policy makers, researchers and anyone interested in housing.

*Please note that space in the workshops are limited*
