The Nature Guelph Naturalists in Training Program is an opportunity for youth aged 11 - 16 to experience hands on learning in our natural world.
The "NITs" meet at the Guelph Lake Nature Centre(7677 Conservation Road, Guelph, ON) once a month, usually from 1pm - 3pm. Special event times and meeting locations will be noted in the schedule.
NITs are welcome to attend the Young Naturalist meetings as volunteer assistant leaders.

(All programs are “kids only”. Parents are invited to stay to all the programs marked with a *. Parents that would like to volunteer should contact Tamara or Ann to fill out a volunteer form. All volunteers need a current vulnerable sector police check)

Saturday, February 11 – Snowshoeing 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Saturday, March 25 – Predator Prey Simulation 10am – noon
Saturday, April 8 – Fairy Shrimp at the University of Guelph Arboretum 1pm – 3pm
(meet at the U of G Arboretum Centre parking lot, College Ave East – wear rubber boots)
