Event Details

The Nature Guelph Naturalists in Training Program is an opportunity for youth aged 11 - 16 to experience hands on learning in our natural world.

The "NITs" meet at the Guelph Lake Nature Centre(7677 Conservation Road, Guelph, ON) once a month, usually from 1pm - 3pm. Special event times and meeting locations will be noted in the schedule.

NITs are welcome to attend the Young Naturalist meetings as volunteer assistant leaders.

Naturalists in Training (NIT) Schedule2016/2017

Please meet at the Guelph Lake Nature Centre unless otherwise stated. (7677 Conservation Road, Guelph, ON)

(All programs are “kids only”. Parents are invited to stay to all the programs marked with a *. Parents that would like to volunteer should contact Tamara or Ann to fill out a volunteer form. All volunteers need a current vulnerable sector police check)

Fall/Winter Schedule 2016

Saturday, October 1 – Mothing Program 8pm – 10pm

Saturday, October 22 – Edible Wilds 2pm – 4pm
