2017 Calgary Cargo Bike Race and Meetup

Do you own a cargo bike? Are you interested in owning a cargo bike someday? Want to chat with current cargo bike families in Calgary? Would you like to try test-riding multiple cargo bike styles? Are you just curious what a cargo bike is and what they can do? Do you like racing bikes? If you answered "YES!" to any of the above questions you need to join us!

Race day registration will take place from 12pm-12:30pm at the new Two Wheel View workshop located on 10th AVE SW in beautiful Sunalta. We are hoping to get the racing going by 1pm.

Race Format:

- race will happen rain or shine, come prepared (we stage in an area with coverage from the rain)

- 3 categories to choose from: Long John (Bullitt, CETMA) , Long Tail (Xtracycle, Yuba, Haul-a-day), Other (trailers)

- head-to-head by category

- each rider will load up, compete a lap, unload, reload, for a total of 2 laps

- helmets mandatory

- prizes to the top 3 women and men in each category
