2017 FMNCP Program Launch (and more!)

We look forward to connecting with you for the 2017 Farmers Market Nutrition Coupon Program!

Our day is split into three sections.

1) Intro to FMNCP (first hour)

If the FMNCP is new to you, this first hour is meant for you. We will present an overview and program history. Then we will go in depth on how it works.

2) FMNCP Program Launch and Lunch (three hours)

A must attend for each market and partner. We have great content for you including:

• Never before seen program results and data from 2016
• Reveal Program Changes
• Share new resources for fundraising
• Orientation to your responsibilities in the program
• Pick up your program materials

3) Promoting Farmers Markets Region by Region (one and a half-hours)

We are working with the Business Advisory Team/Left Field Marketing group to conduct important market research.

We are seeking your input on how, together, we can better market, promote and brand BC farmers’ markets to consumers across all regions of BC.

Through this initiative, your farmer’s market and the BCAFM will be able to better:

• Understand your target market and the people who do (and do not) currently shop at farmers’ markets across BC
• Identify successful branding, marketing and promotions strategies and tactics at different farmers’ markets and across the 9 regions across BC
• Understand branding, marketing and promotions at urban vs. rural farmers’ markets

We can reimburse you for travel costs, such as mileage and parking. We’ll also provide you with lunch.
